We lead trainings throughout the year for professionals working with young children in mental health, early education, health, family support, and administration. We help  more than 500 providers from more than 60 agencies learn best practices in their fields each year—from our state-of-the-art conference room, at partner offices, in the field, and online.

When does registration open?

Registration opens two to four weeks before the training date. New users will need to set up a user account and password. For technical assistance with registration, please contact the First 5 Helpdesk at (510) 227-6929. Registration is required for all trainings. There is no fee to attend.

Where are trainings located?

Unless otherwise indicated, trainings take place online. The link to join a meeting will be sent to registrants the day before and an hour before the event.

How can I become a First 5 Trainer?

To be considered as a trainer for First 5 Alameda County, join our trainer registry on HIGH5.

Where can I report an issue with a First 5 Training?

While First 5 Alameda County goes to great lengths to anticipate problems and ensure fair treatment for all participants, the occasional issue arises that requires intervention and/or action.
