About the Summit
The Fathers Corps’ Fatherhood Summit is designed to empower fathers and father-figures by celebrating the role they play in the lives of their children, debunking myths and stereotypes around fatherhood, providing critical information and support through a variety of targeted workshops.
The Summit offers a career fair, nationally-known mainstage speakers, and dozens of workshops that provide relevant information specific to the needs of fathers and father figures and resources that support fathers in being the dads they want to be.

About Fathers Corps
Helping fathers and father-figures to engage meaningfully with their children
The Alameda County Fathers Corps (Fathers Corps) advocates for family service providers to offer father-friendly services to strengthen fathers’ parenting skills and help them engage with their families. Fathers Corps is available to all fathers and father-figures in Alameda County.
Nested within First 5’s Parent Partnership strategy, Fathers Corps is a collaborative effort of First 5 Alameda County, Alameda County’s Health Care Services Agency, Social Services Agency, Probation Department, and Child Support Services Department.
