New Cycle of Grants

First 5 Alameda County's Community Grants Initiative is currently seeking applicants for the 2013-2015 funding cycle. The application is now available and must be completed online by 5:00 pm, March 1st, 2013.  These grants are significant tools that help achieve the First 5 vision - of every child in Alameda County having optimal health, development, and well-being from birth to 5 in order to reach his or her greatest potential.

Eligible Applicants

This is the fifteenth year that First 5 Alameda County has offered funding for dedicated community partners to promote the health and well-being of children birth to 5. In order to apply for any of the funding categories, agencies must use the funds to serve children ages birth to 5 and their families; serve Alameda County residents; have experience serving children and families; and either be a community-based 501(c)3, have the fiscal sponsorship of a 501(c)3, or be a public agency.
