Opportunities Abound to Engage with Alameda County Father’s Corps

  • The Fathers Corps Learning Community is designed to build the capacity of male service providers to effectively engage and support fathers and increase provider understanding of the critical role fathers/father-figures play in the lives of children. Workshops focus on fathers’ role in early childhood and factors specific to the needs of men and the challenges they face in fulfilling their role as fathers. Click here for more information.
  • The Father-Friendly Provider Network is a co-ed learning community that will mirror the training calendar of the Fathers Corps Learning Community. Diversity of Fatherhood Photo Bank – Available for FREE!

Too often fathers are not represented in images promoting families. The Alameda County Fathers Corps built the Diversity of Fatherhood Digital Photo Bank to provide FREE downloadable images of Dads being Dads. The photo bank provides access to images for use on your websites, in brochures and in presentations. Click here to access the photo bank.

2019 Fatherhood Summit

The inaugural Fatherhood Summit hosted by the Fathers Corps on Saturday, March 16, 2019 will empower fathers and father figures by celebrating and honoring the important role fathers play in the lives of their children. The goal of the summit is to attract 1,000 fathers and father figures to engage in a safe, judgment-free, supportive space. Summit participants will attend father-focused workshops and hear from some of the nation’s leading voices on fatherhood.  We are looking for sponsors so we can expand our reach to continue the movement to empower our men as fathers, nurturers, caregivers, community role models, and leaders.
